We are excited that you are joining us. Below are some tips, and instructions for logging onto Mobile Link for the first time. After this, you will be able to logon to the Mobile Link for Generators app on your phone or tablet.
Before you start, please have the following ready.
- Knowledge of the email you will use for your Mobile Link account. This is your logon and your main identifier for Mobile Link moving forward.
- Access to this email account for verification purposes.
- For paid subscriptions you will need a valid credit card to setup. For dealer managed accounts, please disregard.
- A great attitude and a little bit of patience!
STEP BY STEP:
Below are the steps you will take when you logon for the first time after March 30th!
Note: If you are on your phone, the app will automatically open a web browser to this site the first time you access it.
NOTE: If you forgot your ML email, the link shown here will prompt you to call our Customer Support Center. This is because your email is your unique identifier and needs to be accurate. If you put in a different email, it will recognize that email as a "new" account and start you off fresh.
NOTE: This is where having access to your email is required. One of the enhancements of the new Mobile Link is additional security. Verifying your email is essential to keeping up with current industry standard security protocols.
Open your email, and find a message from firstname.lastname@example.org; copy the digits after YOUR CODE IS: ________
Go back to the Mobile Link webpage and paste or enter the code into the space provided. CLICK VERIFY CODE.
|NOTE: This code will expire, so if you wait too long, you may need to send a NEW CODE. You will receive a message, YOU HAVE EXCEEDED THE MAXIMUM TIME ALLOWED. Click SEND NEW CODE. Repeat step 4a & 4b|
|Once completed you will get a message stating, EMAIL ADDRESS VERIFIED, PLEASE CHOOSE A PASSWORD.|
Choose a new password. Password must be a minimum of 8 characters in length but can be any combination of letters, numbers or symbols.
STEP 6: You will then be prompted to LOGON with your new credentials with a WELCOME BACK Message!
NOTE: If you ever forget your password, you will go through a similar procedure as steps 4a & 4b.
You are finished with the account refresh and you may logon to the app or website to view the new look and new features.
