In Spring 2022, the 2G/3G cellular services will be retired by Verizon. These are the cellular services supporting the CDMA device. It is in your best interest to update this device to the new 4G LTE Cellular device as soon as possible. Also note, if the CDMA Mobile Link subscription renews before you have a chance to upgrade, the renewal will be at a monthly rate vs annual to support this retirement process.
There are two ways to upgrade to the new LTE Device.
- DEALER: Contact your local dealer or preferred dealer and request the CDMA to LTE upgrade process. Dealers often will offer a maintenance program, which will include the LTE device cost, installation and Mobile Link subscription moving you to a dealer managed plan. They will process the device swap within their monitoring system.
- OWNER PURCHASE: Consumers have the option to order the LTE device and go through the update on their own. There is a purchase of a new communication device, and the upgrade subscription. The benefit is that the current CDMA subscription is $119.00/ year ($15/mo) to 4GLTE $69.99/ year ($6.99/mo). This is special pricing for owners.

FINAL STEP for owners:
Once you have received the new 4G/LTE device, you must contact Mobile Link's Customer Support to complete the device swap (855) GEN-VIEW / (855) 436-8439.
In order to perform the switch correctly, customer service will need the CDMA device's MDN number being replaced, and the new 4G/LTE device's serial number.
